IT Service Engineer
Technical support with responsibility
What will you do?
As an IT Service Engineer, you are the first point of contact for our clients with IT issues. You provide technical IT support and help clients resolve incidents by phone and remotely. You ensure their IT environment remains stable, secure and up to date.
Most issues are resolved directly via remote support. Sometimes larger requests or changes take the form of small IT projects that you work on and deliver independently or together with colleagues.
Occasionally you carry out installations or work on-site, but the majority of your work is done remotely. This is not a pass-through role. You are and remain the technical point of contact for our clients.

New client implementations and architecture are carried out by senior colleagues. You support where appropriate and get the opportunity to further specialise -depending on your ambition and development -in system or network administration.

We are a specialised IT organisation that delivers Online Workplaces and secure IT infrastructures to business clients. We manage our own infrastructure in a Dutch Tier-3 data centre, where continuity and security are central.
Our environments include Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Hyper-V virtualisation and container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes. We continuously invest in professionalisation, security and modern infrastructure.
We do not believe in mass service desks, but in quality, responsibility and lasting client relationships. Our clients rely on their IT environment every day and we ensure it keeps running reliably.
You work from a modern, professional office at an easily accessible location directly on the motorway. A pleasant working environment with modern hardware, good facilities and a professional yet informal atmosphere. We are a compact team with short communication lines. You get a lot of independence, but you are never on your own.
Responsibilities
- Independently analyse and resolve 1st and 2nd line IT incidents
- Phone and remote support via professional tooling
- Carry out changes and small technical projects
- Manage Windows Server environments
- Maintain and manage Microsoft 365
- Work with Hyper-V virtualisation platform
- Monitor networks and security
- Carry out updates, patches and preventive maintenance
What are we looking for?
- MBO-4 or HBO ICT qualification
- Minimum 2 to 5 years experience in IT support or system administration
- Able to independently handle 1st and 2nd line incidents
- Experience with Windows Server, Windows 11, Microsoft 365
- Experience with Hyper-V, networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN), firewalls
- Direct client contact and responsibility for client environments
- Excellent command of the Dutch language -you can explain technical matters clearly and understandably to non-technical clients

- You communicate clearly and understandably in excellent Dutch -even when explaining something technical
- You take ownership of incidents and changes
- You work in a structured and solution-oriented way
- You work independently, but know when to escalate
- You are looking for a role with long-term responsibility
